Habitat for Humanity Home Repair Program Opens Monday, March 2!

Posted Date: 02/27/26 (02:00 PM)

Warsaw Community Schools families,

We want to share a resource that may be helpful to homeowners in our community!

Habitat for Humanity of Kosciusko County is launching a new Home Repair Program designed to help low- to moderate-income homeowners make critical, non-emergency repairs to their primary residence. This program focuses specifically on:

• Roof replacement
• HVAC system replacement, with priority given to furnace replacements

The goal is to help families stay in their homes long term and keep them healthy, safe and affordable.

Applications will be accepted March 2 through March 13. Habitat only opens applications 1–2 times per year, so interested homeowners are encouraged to apply during this window.

How to Apply

  • Applications and program details are available at: https://kosciuskohabitat.org/repair/
  • Paper applications are also available at the Habitat ReStore, 3970 Corridor Drive, Warsaw (Thursday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).
  • All applications and required documents must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13.
For questions, contact Habitat at (574) 269-4104 or apply@kosciuskohabitat.org.

We are grateful for community partnerships that support families across Kosciusko County and hope this information is helpful to those who may benefit.
