The Middle School Alternative Learning Program is for students in grades 7 & 8.

This program is offered for students who are in the 7th and 8th grade. Students must interview/apply for the program. Students are then admitted to the program; preference is given to students who have been placed in the ASE program. Students continue with grade level standards in math, language arts, science, and social studies. Students also participate in social group to learn skills to help them be successful in the future. They also participate in vocational group to help them begin thinking about their future and why school is important. The class will also partake in a service learning project which spans the majority of the year. Through the service learning project, students begin to learn leadership skills and how to work as a team to accomplish their goals.
